What is an APK and how to get the sonabet Android app

sonabet Android app login and home screen

APK stands for Android Package Kit — a file format used to install apps on the Android operating system. When you download an app from the Google Play Store, this file works behind the scenes. However, some apps are available directly as an APK file, which needs to be installed manually on your phone.

The sonabet Android app is available as an APK and can only be obtained through official channels. An iOS version of sonabet is also available through official channels. Getting the app from the correct source ensures it is genuine and safe.

If you have already created an account using the sonabet login page, you can log in to this app with the same account — no separate account is needed.

Step-by-step installation guide

Once you have the official sonabet APK, follow the steps below to install the app easily.

01

Open Android Settings

Go to your phone's Settings and navigate to Security or Privacy. Look for the "Install unknown apps" or "Allow from this source" option. Enable permission for the file manager or browser you will use to open the APK file.

02

Open the APK file

Find the sonabet APK file you received from the official channel in your phone's file manager. Tapping the file will prompt Android to begin installation.

03

Confirm the installation

A pop-up will appear on screen showing the app's permissions. Tap the "Install" button. Installation will complete within a few seconds.

04

Open the app

After installation, tap the "Open" button, or tap the sonabet icon from your home screen or app drawer. Once the app loads, the login page will appear.

05

Log in and get started

Log in with your sonabet username and password. If you are a new user, register directly. After logging in, you will have access to all games, bonuses and payment options.

06

Set the Bangla language

Go to language settings in the app and select Bangla. All menus, notifications and support messages will then appear in Bangla.

How to update to the latest official version

sonabet updates the app regularly — new games are added, performance is improved and security is strengthened. Some features may not work on older versions, so keeping the app updated is important.

To update, you need to get the new APK from the official channel, just as before. When installing the new file, Android will ask whether you want to replace the old version — confirming this will complete the update. Your account details, balance and bonuses will not be affected.

If you are logged in to the sonabet app, a notification about a new version may sometimes appear from within the app. If that notification contains a link, only follow links from official sources — not from any other source.

Alongside playing slots through the app, live casino and sports betting are equally available. After an update, OTP verification may be requested on the first login — this is a normal security step.

Common installation issues and solutions

Low storage

If there is not enough space on your phone, installation will stop partway through. Free up some space by deleting items from your Gallery, Downloads or by removing apps you no longer need. Then try installing again.

Installation blocked

By default, Android blocks APKs from sources outside the Play Store. Go to Settings → Security and enable "Unknown sources" or "Install unknown apps". You can turn this off again after installation if you wish.

App not opening

If the app crashes immediately after installation, restart your phone once. If the problem persists, uninstall the app and reinstall using the official APK. This issue is usually caused by cached or old files.

Loading or connection issues

Games or the live casino may not load on a slow internet connection. Try using Wi-Fi instead of mobile data, or close the app and reopen it. If a VPN is active, try turning it off.

All sonabet services are for those aged 21 and above only. Before using the app, please read the responsible gaming guidelines.
